Having fun

I have started to really enjoy the ukulele and I have taken it to be a relaxing break from school for me. I have started to be able to search up any songs really and be able to play it by just following along with the chords written down. I have always wanted to be able to do this and now that I can I am very excited. I have started to play the songs You and I, and The way I am both by Ingrid Michaelson. It is such a beautiful thing to be able to sit down and play what I love to listen to. It is an incredible feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. It makes it so much easier for me to be able to express my feeling through singing then it was before.

With this new talent I have gained I am very excited for Christmas quickly approaching as usually we have a big family gathering and play Christmas music and sing along all together to my Papa playing the guitar. This year as COVID has made this not available to us I am very excited that I can contribute to keeping the tradition going for my Mom, Dad, and sister this year. I have learned the songs that we would normally do a huge group sing along to so that we can still experience the Christmas joy that comes from singing together.
